Shacked Up, Sell Out, and Self Care
March Photography and Events
Warmer weather is in the forecast, signaling the beginnings of spring. I’m not completely ready for winter playtime to be over but, I am looking forward to green buds on the trees and mushroom hunting!
The Sugar Shack
It’s that time of year when the sap starts flowing and delicious maple syrup is made! By boiling out the water, the sap is reduced to that rich, sticky stuff we all love to pour over our morning pancakes. Used now as a family cabin this shack is nestled….
What Happened Last Month and What’s Coming Up
Last month’s accomplishments:
Farmer’s Markets continued in February with increased connections and sales. Yay! Thank you all that stopped by! I’ll need to refill my inventory soon! Barr Hill Natural Area is a beautiful gem in the Vermont landscape, great place for a photo walk and highly recommended!
Upcoming Events:
In March you will continue to find me at the Capital City Market. if you see me there be sure to stop by and say hi! The days are getting longer giving us more photography opportunities, let’s hope for some great light too!
This Month’s Goals:
This month marks a return to self-care after a few months of focused building on this business. Getting outside, time in the gym, and some general “me time” is on the calendar. The day-job continues to take my daytime hours so, the later light is a welcomed change for me.
This Month’s Photo Walk - Mar 24th
This month I’ll be heading down to the Quechee Gorge area for a little early season exploring and then into the quaint town of Woodstock. I’m searching through the town’s calendar of events to see what might be going on and will let you all know the options in the next letter.
I’m doing this a week later than usual as the 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. Please note, the park will not be open at this time so, we won’t be able to hike down. Still, there should be lots of photo opportunities from the bridge as well as all through Woodstock.
As always, shoot me a message if you want me to be on the lookout for you!
