The Hornet’s Nest
The Hornet’s Nest cocktail was born from a desire to answer the popular Bee’s Knees.
1.5 oz Mezcal
1 oz Ancho Reyes
3/4 oz Lime Juice
3/4 oz Tea Simple Syrup
4 Slices of Jalepeño
Drop 3 of the jalepeño slices into the bottom of a Boston shaker and add all the liquids. Shake until the tin is cold on your hands (about 12-15 seconds) and double strain into a rocks glass. Place one large ice cube in the glass and rest the fourth jalepeño slice on top.
